assalaam âalaykoum, first of all,i've been following the improvements on your site for many years, and it's my favorite concerning arabic callygraphy. i'm a belgian moroccan and i'm a callaygrapher too. a month or 2 ago a belgian friend asked me to design a tattoo for him (collection of names of his dearest people), and i did. but i thought that it was no problem because he's an atheïst. was it still haram for me to do that mr. sakkal? i know that you're not a âalim of islam, but i just want to know you're opinion since you've asked a âalim as i have read on your site. thx
P.S.: excuse my english if it's bad. first time in 14 years that i write it again.

Salam and sorry for the late response.
I am not sure what the answer to your question is. I think you can use your best judgment on this.

I understand the restriction of tattoos in Islam, but why would it be 7aram for a Muslim to assist another in having a tattoo? Forgive my ignorance.

Hi Sano,
I think it would be simply common sense not help someone else in doing an undesirable act.
Thanks for your kind comments and interest.
